Christian Renewal began publishing in 1982.
The magazine was modeled after the work and witness of Dr. Abraham Kuyper–theologian, minister, Prime Minister of The Netherlands,
educator, journalist, editor and adopted son of the Most High God.
The emphasis of his life was that all things in heaven and on earth are under the authority, ownership and Lordship of King Jesus. In that light Kuyper lived, using his many gifts and talents for the sake of advancing the Kingdom
of God with an all-encompassing Christian Worldview.
We aspire to do the same through reformed Christian journalism.
